SmarterStats using Silverlight charting

SmarterStats4.x Silverlight ChartingSmarterTools has released SmarterStats 4.x, the latest version of it’s web analytics tool. This release uses Silverlight for dynamic charting.

There is also a free edition available which allows you to run reporting on 1 site.

The Mojave Experiment gets a Silverlight makeover

Looks like Microsoft has relaunched the Mojave Experiment website with a Silverlight front end. Initially the site was built in Flash, presumably to get as much exposure as possible when it first went live. Maybe now that the Olympics are over they feel the Silverlight plugin has enough penetration to switch to Silverlight.

The UI is nice and utilizes WPF’s DeepZoom to navigate the video windows.

Is it me or are the video playback controls a little hard to use though? If I inadvertently click in a video area the video restarts from the beginning, and the lack of a scrub bar makes this a little annoying.

Interfoft’s Siruis Silverlight Interface Components

Intersoft has launched an showcase for their upcoming Silverlight Interface Component Library. The demo site is very well put together and the concepts are well executed. Features include CoverFlow browsing and FishEye menus.
