Tim Sneath has a nice post about Web Server configuration for Silverlight. The bottom line, you only need to add 2 MIME types:

| .xaml | application/xaml+xml |
| .xap | application/x-silverlight-app |
Tim also offers up some handy alternatives for those who are using shared hosting and don’t have access to the server for configuration.
