Scott Holden posted a demonstration video of Silverlight for Windows Mobile. Although it’s just a prototype of MLB mobile with video, it is a nice peek at things to come.

Infragistics has partnered with Amazon and Microsoft to release a nice reference application for WPF called Tangerine™. The team at Infragistics built the reference application (called an “exemplar”) using NetAdvantage for WPF.

While you’re on their site don’t miss the other examples of NetAdvantage for WPF. It has some really nice controls with downloadable samples.

Alexey Gavrilov has put together a great comparison of the rendering speeds of WPF, Flash, DHTML, Silverlight and Flex. He also compares how the different browsers handle rendering. It’s not a large sample set, but the results are still very interesting.

Here’s another Illustrator to XAML exporter. Looks like a nice app with preview mode and ability to export directly to Control and Data Templates.

Microsoft bought an island in Second Life, they’ve named it Visual Studio island.

Several Weeks ago Brad Abrams hosted a presentation about Silverlight for MAC from this virtual world. He has since made the Power Point slides and media available for download.

Don’t miss the videos showing Silverlight Media on MAC, and Silverlight RIA’s on MAC.

I’m going to try to get out to Ignite Boston tonight. Sounds like there will be some good discussion there including, Jesse Liberty on Silverlight and Alessandro Pace on Flash Lite.

Ted Patrick of onFlex.org posts an interesting perspective on the release of Silverlight 1.0 and it’s effect on Adobe and their roadmap to RIA.

Dax Pandhi writes that WTF 0.9 is available for download.
